I want to wish a very Happy Easter to all subscribers of any persuasion. I’d like to wish a Happy Easter to everybody, in fact.
I know a lot of children believe we are celebrating finding a lot of fake eggs with candy in them - I certainly was when I was little in Catholic school. It’s important to tell people that beneath our vain traditions, we celebrate the light of the world rising to fulfill God’s promise to send us a savior.
Remember the Lord is watching over us every minute and we have a heavenly host around us all the time urging us to righteousness and to love God the way they do.
Christ is telling us to be not afraid. I don’t listen as good as I should but you probably already knew that. I’m afraid because my faith is weak. I encourage everybody else to listen to Christ instead of me. Be not afraid.
I have to go down to my new home this week, big things in place to stay there for good on the next trip or so. You would not believe how much electronic junk I have hauled around the entire world that I have to move down in my truck. It’s all for the purposes of supporting VAULT-SYS development once I am in place - which will be soon God willing.
I have had too many distractions for too long but once down in Appalachia I am going to become a productivity machine and you can expect all kinds of new media connected to VAULT-CO. Podcasts, tours of Appalachia and the wastelands of the Rust Belt, plus big focus on the first version of VAULT-SYS. I appreciate everyone who bet on a long shot when they bought a Foundation membership, I promise you I am going to make it pay off with some very special software to accompany the first version. The “processes” are what really makes the server do incredible things, you’ll see.
I am also anxiously awaiting the new Brighteon LLM which is standalone revolutionary AI for preppers. I have already succeeded in building a launch interface with an earlier version - this could end up being the coolest part of VAULT-SYS I never even anticipated! I didn’t plan on adding a four terabyte module but this will almost certainly be optional if the LLM is present! I have played with the younger sibling of this software and it was amazing stuff.
I think it will be quiet on here the next week until I get back on Friday or earlier. Until then I hope nobody goes crazy if no new content goes up until next weekend.
Regards, Tex
I saw this late, there’s so much going on. It’s hard to keep up with everything. But anyone can see your heart is true and your witness pure so may God bless you with every good blessing as he continues to refine you in his cleansing fire. May only pure gold be produced to his honor and glory and may you shine forth, a witness to his forgiving heart. We are a band of Brothers in Christ and may our prayers support you in all that you do. Be safe and be well.
Happy Easter to you and the readers / dwellers as well :)
About the AI / LLM, I understand it's something of a dilemma, there's something new to explore, which is something preppers are somewhat made for, and then there is the tedious but rewarding work to finish a project that is worth finishing.
Friends told me that AI was now capable of coding quite well simple to medium applications and proggrams. Maybe the AI can help you finish boring bits of VAULT-SYS ?
Also, it may prove useful to write the user manual and starter manual, so a 10-year old can start it. Sometimes all that is left is a ten year-old.
AI is clearly a simplifier and multiplier, it's already here to stay, but it can't be trusted beyond being a tool. I asked it about 9/11 and gave me the answers it found in the press, it's like a superfast but naive boomer that believes everything the press told him it was true.
Godspeed on your relocation, I hope you find kindred spirits there, there must be prepper-minded people in that Rustbelt.
