For those who failed to add enough points to lockpicking at level upgrades

There’s no need to be ashamed. You’re level 32 but put most of your skillpoints into weapons. Now you can barely pick a lock unless it’s a Fisher Price Toybox.

It’s easy to imagine scavenging after the apocalypse and you just don’t have time to pick every single door, file cabinet and safe lock that you come across. You might be interested in the brute force method.

Remember, if somebody owns it and they’re alive, this is stealing. If they’ve been dead for ten years and you’re the first visitor to the building since then, it’s freeboot to anybody who finds it. There is no owner for legal purposes.

Got to admire those master lockpickers. If you need something and you need it fast, there can be alternate methods of getting to it.

Hate to sound like Rocket Raccoon but you might really, really need it. Nobody is left who cares about it except you or your loved ones. It might be antibiotics, food or important custom tools. It might be a door or gate that is keeping you from escaping that somebody else has locked you inside. Either way, you need to get past that security.

Bad guys have practiced these arts for untold millennia, there’s no reason a good guy can’t use the same techniques to get something that is otherwise unobtainable. Unlikely there will be any cops left asking you what you think you are doing.

I think the makers of bobbleheads are trying to tell us with this one that you can be a master lockpicker and not necessarily know how to pick locks. That screwdriver does not look like a key to me and it’s too big to use as a pick.
