Hoyles Encyclopedia of Card Games
Games and group social activities in a shelter long-term are absolutely mandatory for morale and sanity. This book should keep you occupied for quite a while.
I wanted to publish this for a while but there is a ring of copyright claimed for this title which opportunists have tried to extend to any single instance of it. Obviously, somebody is milking the long dead author’s reputation for a book they have been reselling for a hundred and fifty years.
I don’t think they can get a foothold on this version, by a book publishing house that never properly conveyed rights by Walter B. Gibson’s widow to establish her rights - so there is no way they can sit on this version and claim they own it. Since even his widow is gone now, the book is public domain in my opinion. Almost all the authors associated with this book have gone to their eternal reward a long time ago.
By all means, direct message me if you honestly believe I cannot redistribute this book.

On the other hand, you can see how it would almost be mandatory for the library of a deep rock survival shelter after the apocalypse.
My recommendations are:
Never play for money, although bottle caps might be fun
Always be a good sport about it, win or lose
Have fun and make sure nobody is ostracized
Remember the whole point is to sit around and forget your worries while you socialize with the members of your group
When there is too much tension in the shelter and it’s just a waiting game, nothing better than hot cocoa and a game of cards instead of just stewing in anxiety juices
