Makeshift Survival A Piece Of Junk At A Time
To be really effective, you have to learn how to scavenge and make use of almost anything. Your mind is the most useful gear you will ever own.
There’s going to be a lot of scrap left laying around after WW3. My target goal for VAULT-SYS the past 24 years has been to design software that would be similar to an Etch-A-Sketch. You use it and it just works. There’s nothing it can’t be compiled for and nearly any computer on earth with enough of the basic requirements can run it.
When you’re in trouble and lack a tool, a weapon or a gadget, chances are you can make something out of almost anything you find. If I was scavenging in the ruins I’d never leave behind PVC pipes, gaffer tape, crazy glue or tabasco sauce. They all just solve too many problems if you use your imagination.
This is one of my favorite free books, I liked it so much I printed it off and put it into a binder. It touches on all kinds of useful things you can make from what is thrown away or abandoned now.

Eagerly looking forward to forging the lawnmower blade machete asap.
