Hunting & Fishing to survive is utterly different from Hunting and Fishing for sport. The instant you find you are doing it not as a leisure pursuit, the rules change for everything.
I have sat fishing for 10 hours in a day and not caught a single fish. I had a great time just being out with my father and brothers despite our choice of fishing hole being basically a dry well. There may have been fish in there but they just weren’t biting that day or not biting what we were using as bait.
If I needed fish to eat in order to survive, I would not think twice to throw a copper wire into that river or stream and crank up a big burst of voltage through it. That saves 10 hours right there with regular fishing gear and when a hundred fish float to the surface stunned you just caught enough fish for the month.
Everything in this book is illegal except in an emergency. You will definitely run afoul of the law if you use any technique in here during peacetime in a normal situation. The game authorities will probably write you enough tickets you won’t be able to eat meat for the next ten years so please be advised this book is for entertainment purposes only. Don’t ever resort to any of the methods described herein for any reason than during emergency conditions when you are not hunting for leisure rather to survive.
