VAULT-CO Site Is Now Online
The page for technical information on Vault-Sys and related application modules
The page is barebones at present, just treading water until I start to add regular updates on the coming revolutionary VAULT-SYS software.
I intend to keep that page strictly related to technical issues, items of interest concerning shelter automation and civil defense gear. I will do my best to avoid going into any of that on this page, which is reserved for much more serious discussion.
If you are a subscriber and you ever wonder what is the current state of progress on VAULT-SYS, you can go to that link for new information and topics generally concerned with high tech survivalism and civil defense.
The Vault-Co Github is found here, I have removed the prior version of CD-OS and CD-SYS but left up the TekUI code because it is amazing and interesting. Someday the app could graduate to sitting on top of a system fully scriptable by users. It’s just a pipe dream at the moment but using Barracuda is a great way to set out in that direction of migration. It may be used very shortly to store the builds but without download access until I get it to version 1.0 which I am aiming at on Aug 1st, 2023.
This would be a great case to put it into, hardened PVC in a dark color that wouldn’t show age much like the famous tans that used to be popular for terminals. For the time being I have more to worry about in the software. The hardware to host it will come later but hopefully not too much later. A good way to start might be to create a complete 3D printing file set to assemble something similar from home. With an STM32 board inside it you’d probably have something as tough as is depicted in the Fallout series. Now if only you could get some 99 year beta decay batteries to power it forever.
Keep your faith in God strong. He’s always much closer than you think he is.
