VAULT-SYS Integrated On-The-Fly GZIP Compression!
Lua Server-side support including websockets working on ASN.1 message stack with SSL encryption of message packets!
I have been working about an hour a day on VAULT-SYS and a couple hours a day on my games. I’ve got at least two games approaching completion while VAULT-SYS has run into nitty-gritty problems with page delivery. I was trying to integrate Lua so it could run resource compression as GZIP stacks on limited memory buffers, which seems to be working but I don’t really have a unit testing regime set up to make sure. It is good enough going forward to release a prototype to subscribers to this Substack soon.
I got the remote delivery of high rez graphics applications with Lua Script and resource bundles also apparently working. It’s hard to say because I have so many additional features planned for this process module - but it is stable enough to set down and return to work on the server. This will no doubt get some heavy real-world testing when I get my Pip-Boy 2000 kit from Bethesda assembled with my ARM board running inside it. Until then it is just being shelved. My Pip-Boy kit is sitting on the shelf in front of me in my study, it is going to be the debut target for VAULT-SYS with the most compelling YouTube demonstration video the world has ever seen, guaranteed.
