Thank you so much for including the PDF!! I just downloaded it. I lost a lot of my preps, but a lot of them I had to use in actual emergencies too so they did what they were supposed to do, just need to re-load and keep building on it besides the bare minimum. Water storage is the thing that has me most concerned given where I live. Hard to transport too should that become necessary, but I will get that dialed in. This may be in the PDF, which I will read tonight, but if have any tips on water storage for those that do not live on their own land with large tanks or rain catchment systems or wells, I'm all ears. Thank you!
Water is also my biggest worry. I have filtration handled, but sourcing and storing it are a problem. I came across this today, a free Kindle version at Amazon.
I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but it may be what we're looking for.
Survival Water Wisdom: The Secure Prepper's Guide to Clear, Clean, Safe & Abundant Water
I've got the "Preppers Guide To Emergency Water Purification" on the Memex, which is pretty useful for emergency needs. I think you are looking for long term storage and resource solutions, which is a good idea right now. I believe as with the train derailment, they are going to start poisoning the water supplies. (Pretty sure it is happening now in some places.) p.s. Just checked to make sure you can access the Memex, looks like you are founder. Sorry I had to put Memex behind paywall, people were leeching files off massively daily. So now they are free when initially posted before they go behind the paywall a month later. Figured this was a good compromise.
I agree. We don't trust our tap water at all. Right now we purify (distill and add trace minerals to) our tap water because we have electricity. That could change at any time and we'll be using Emergency Water Purification methods. We still haven't come up with a good storage and resource plan that isn't rather ragged around the edges.
P.S. If you find a good resource for long term storage information, please let me know. I have a couple good books I consult but they are all copyrighted.
Thank you very much for this.
Thank you !
