Was literally moments ago talking about how I plan to grow some sugar beets and learn to produce sugar from them.

Beets are excellent for the blood, circulatory system, and liver. They are high in betaine which helps produce energy. Athletes given Beets perfoem better in endurance contests.

Who doesn’t love sugar beets?? Mangelwurzels??? Sounds like something in a witches brew or a Harry Potter book 😂

Isn't mangelwurzel a wonderful word? The first time I came across it was in a Tom Robbins book, where he has quite a lot to say about beets, including this....

We are experimenting with growing mangelwurzels for animal food. Beets are great.
