Memex

A memex is a database of information that can be accessed many different ways. The word was first coined by Vannevar Bush in his visionary and influential “As We May Think” book.

A collection of extremely useful, quality vetted survivalist books & references.

These and many other important digital resources will be part of the web browser enabled library online as part of the CD-OS / VAULT-SYS software.

They are made available here for digital download but they are likely to end up consolidated on a USB drive and installable as a global directory underneath the CD-OS web server for instant text search and view from anywhere inside a shelter running the CD-OS application.

Manuals and books will always be released for free initially but I have been getting very heavy traffic here on Substack for the Memex so I have to make the long term storage here paid only. Sorry but I want to make sure I have the bandwidth for paid subscribers always available up here.
